I started my photography business just before the dawn of the affordable digital cameras. I’d been a Photoshop user and trainer from back in the early 1990’s so a transition to firstly scanning slides and then on to my first Canon digital a couple of years later seemed natural to me. That first DSLR cost me over $6000 for those amazing 3 Megapixels. In the first year I got a double page spread in a magazine and a 20 x 30 inch poster print displayed in my local lab. Digital was here to stay. And the rest is history… now one of my “cameras” has 12 Megapixels with dual lenses, makes phone calls and browses the internet. Thank you Apple.
My aim is to create images that start a storyline, draw in your clients and potential customers to your message, to enhance your brand perception in your marketplace or to create an accurate visual record of your event.
My clients vary from individuals such as authors, actors, sales professionals, legal and medical professionals to small business owners and their products and all the way up to corporate and multi-national organisations. I treat each with empathy for their mission and as a result I believe it helps me to combine their vision with my interpretation and experience. Together we will create a quality result.
