Wine Bottles - It's an image thing...
Is your product imagery doing its job?
The digital age has engulfed us all, whether we like the change or not. Everything is about image. The media is dominated by it. Now your wines are being sold in regions of the world you may never have heard of. That is the power of the internet. You or your marketing partners are almost certainly using the internet to broaden your appeal.

What I find so great about the internet is the quick access to a picture and description of any product or service that I am interested in. I make decisions about the company by the quality of their images. If they have invested in quality images then I form the opinion that they care about their product, they believe in it and I sense that their product will work for me.
The inverse is also true. A poor quality image makes me feel that the product might be shoddy, might break down or might not match the quality of the fancy wording that may describe it.
All of these decision influences are happening in mere seconds. It's all about confidence and trust. If it doesn't feel right I am back to Google to seek out another supplier.
And all that emotional stuff started because I didn't like the photograph.
This is where we come in. We've looked at the image quality representative of the broader Australian Wine industry. Some of it is excellent and while we might match it, we wouldn't do better. But our impression is that this percentage is not high. There is a broad segment of reasonable imagery, upon which we could improve and then there is a disturbing percentage of poor quality work. Why is this?
We imagine that the growers who fall into this latter category love their product, are passionate about their product. So why do they sell themselves short. Perhaps they feel that they can't afford the perceived high pricing of quality photography.
If you fall into the latter categories we implore you to call us to discuss your situation. It may not be as painful as you have imagined. Our photographers and designers can advise you on solutions that can work for you with current product and future directions.
