Somewhere in the movie industry they say never shoot children or animals. I disagree. I love shooting children. They are free with their emotions and when they feel safe with me behind the camera, they blossom into their own beauty. Shooting digitally allows me the leeway to shoot 10, or even 20 shots to capture that delightful expression that Mum just loves.

With group photos of littlies, it is an almost impossible task to get all of their attention, with all the right expressions at the decisive moment. Sometimes I cut and paste a face from the previous shot to make the best overall group image. I promise you can't see the join.

Photography time can be a major headache for Centre Directors. I have developed a colour coded order form system that is working well. The parents get three basic choices: individual portraits, a package from one individual pose or a class/group photo. These forms are well marked for each group in the centre.

I can come back another morning if a child is sick on their elected day. Although I ask for payment in full up front, I do offer a money back guarantee or an offer to reshoot.

I aim to develop long term relationships with my centres. I want to keep the parents and especially the staff feeling confident in my ability to deliver the "goods."
